Hi! I’m Lisa
I know a thing or two about. . .
Being in pain (all. . .of. . .the. . .time)
Feeling stuck and broken. . . especially after seeing SO MANY specialists I had hoped could figure out what was going on and “fix” me
Knowing there had to be a better solution than living on pain medication
Wanting to enjoy a full, active life. . . and yet doubting my body could handle or keep up with all the things I wanted to do
A back injury while playing sports in high school that only worsened underlying spinal issues
A concussion and whiplash from a car accident
A body that ACHED after a long day working in front of a computer
. . . first these things brought me to tears. . . and then - believing that this could not possibly be the way I would have to live for the rest of my life - they brought me to Pilates.
I was amazed at how quickly I not only experienced relief from pain but so many additional benefits as well:
Strength! I toned and reshaped my body and found muscles I didn’t know I had.
Improved balance and coordination (I laugh when someone asks if I was a dancer. Nope, any grace I have is thanks to Pilates.)
Confidence in my body and what it can do - after all, this is what it’s all about - feeling good in your own skin!
Increased energy and endurance
Better posture & alignment - Not only does it feel good but I “grew” almost a full inch due to spinal decompression
Stress relief - learning to breathe properly helped release years of tension that I was holding in my neck and shoulders
Change is possible
Having experienced the life-changing possibility of moving without pain first-hand, I’ve dedicated my teaching to equipping my clients with the knowledge, practical tools and positive movement experiences they need to reconnect to their bodies and reclaim their vibrant, active and fulfilling lives.
What people (just like you) are saying about working with me
“Having to deal with knee, shoulder and migraine issues, it was such a blessing to find Lisa! She gave me a great workout without pain and made it enjoyable at the same time!”
“Lisa REALLY knows her stuff! She’s taught me to appreciate and listen to my body while recovering from an injury, while showing me there is still so much I can do! ”
