Foam Roller Exercise for Neck Tension
Do you carry tension in your neck and shoulders? Do stress, long hours on your phone or computer or everyday habits leave your neck feeling tight and achy?
This gentle foam roller exercise uses small, controlled movements at the base of the skull and neck to help ease tension and bring more awareness to areas that feel tight or strained.
Use it on its own when your neck and shoulders feel tense or as a warm-up before a Pilates workout. Taking a few moments to slow down, breathe and move gently can help you notice and soften some of the unnecessary gripping through the neck and shoulders before you move on with your workout or your day.
